On the morning of 24th December our family received news that my sister had given birth, at week 38. It was a frenzy of excitement and surprise because we didn’t expect her arrival til at least early Jan 2021. Alhamdulillah my sister delivered her daughter with ease, with baby weighing at 3.18kg

Introducing baby Zara Khadija to the world (well, my world 😆). I’m an Aunt! Who’s so in love with her niece 😍 These photos were taken the day after her birth, on Xmas day. Mama and I quickly pulled together a “Welcome Home” party for Zara and her parents. Thank you @twinkaballoons for pulling together a bunch of gorgeous balloons to make the party more exciting
